    After over four years of discussion, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was adopted on April 27, 2016 and became effective on May 25, 2018. The GDPR replaces the EU’s Data Protection Directive (95/46 EU) which has served as the main instrument of the EU for almost two decades. GDPR is directly applicable to all EU Member States without the need for implementing national legislation.

    Assessment:
    To assess the learner’s ability and knowledge to effectively understand the topics contained within the GDPR Course, the course features a final assignment to be submitted online.

    Certificate:
    On successful completion of this GDPR Course Certificate learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement award from ETU Institute.
    This certificate will be produced in PDF format, hard copies of the certificate will be available at no cost.
    Course Duration:
    The online GDPR Course requires 20 hours to be completed  in full. This is only a guide to the learning hours required and it depends on how quickly an individual can absorb the information. The learning is online so it can be spread out over multiple sessions or done in one session.

    • I would like to attend this course, what are the enrollment deadlines?

      There are no enrollment deadlines.  You can enroll anytime.

    • I am about to enroll in this course, do I need to make an online payment? And when will my enrollment be confirmed?

      To successfully register for one of our courses, you need to make an online payment. All the possible ways are listed down so, you can choose the best payment method for you. Once we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation email and the credentials to access the course. 

    • Will I receive access credentials for the online platform?

      Yes, once your enrolment has been confirmed we will send you the credentials to access the platform so that you can start your course straightaway.

    • Can I also attend this course in a classroom setting or online only?

      You can only attend our courses online.

    • Can I pay the cost of the course in installments?

      For this type of courses, it is not possible to pay in installments.

    • Can I take several courses at once?

      Of course, you can attend more than one course at the same time. 

    • If I drop out of the class, will I be reimbursed?

      The ETU Policy provides a 100% refund of the cost incurred by the student ONLY in case of cancellation of the course by ETU Institute. Therefore, no refund will be issued if you decide not to complete the course.
